2024: TETFund honours best staff, celebrates salary increment

It was all celebration galore on Friday as Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) held its 2024 long service/staff of the year award.

The event which was held at the Auditorium of the Fund, saw the best staff for 2024 and long service staffs bagged various awards.

Addressing the staff, the Executive Secretary of Tetfund, Arch Sunny Echono said appreciating the staff is a crucial way of motivating the work force.

Echono urged the awardees to work hard to maintain a high level of performance and use the avenue to rededicate themselves to the services of the fund.

The ES encouraged those who were not awarded to put in more efforts for future recognition which may attract bigger prize.

Speaking earlier, the Chairman, Board of Trustees of Tetfund, Hon. Bello Masari, explained that motivation encourages and challenges workers to put in their best at all time.

Beyond gift or appreciation, Hon. Masari noted, “Self satisfaction is more important. You are having a feeling of I have put in more, that I have done my best and be comforted that you have proven who you are”.

He congratuled those who have worked for a long time with the Fund.

Spark News Daily reports that medal and cash gift was awarded to the best staff of the Year, while the long service staffs received silver and bronze medals.
