Ondo 2024: INEC assures timely deployment of materials on election day
Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, has again assured of timely movement of election materials to polling units in the forthcoming November 16th governorship election in Ondo State.
Prof. Yakubu who stated this in an interview with Journalists during the state’s tour to assess the mock accreditation exercise in some Local Government Areas on Wednesday, also pointed out the need for early resumption of polling units on the election day.
He assured that sensitive materials would be readily available in due time on election day, while commending the electoral officers of the LGAs for their level of readiness.
Spark News Daily reports that the INEC boss had an interface with the Road Transport workers in the state with the view to deliberate on measures to ensure the timely movements of election materials and the electorate.
