3 Reasons For Delayed Divine Visitation, part 2 – Pastor Akoh Ferdinand
One very vital aspect we mustn't ignore in our walk with God is, all that He does is well planned and programmed. Everything that was created was planned, even when it seems on the fifth day, man should have been introduced in Eden, God had to wait on the sixth day. Why? One of the reasons is what I want to reveal in this part of the message, which is the second reason for delayed Divine visitation.
(2). The Appointed Time! To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven, Eccl 3:1. As much as God heard the cries of the Israelites, don’t be quick to think it was all that made Him move. Beyond that, it was the appointed time. It was the time set aside, and promised to Abraham.
Yes it matters how much education, skills and competence you have acquired, yet you’ll however have to wait for the time appointed for your light to shine and His glory to be risen over you. Have you not heard, I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all, Eccl 9:11.
God is never late. When men calls it late, it suddenly looks latest. You may be reading this piece with me, it may not look like what you would like to hear. For someone the clock is ticking you out of getting pregnant. For another, you have traded everything for deliverance and to doctors. It’s not strange, the woman with the issue of blood will tell you. It was her appointed time to be healed. Job was quick to understand this; no doubt in all he was going through, he said, If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come, Job:14:14.
So while we pray, we must also include His character of doing things good and beautiful in His time. As mortals, we ask for reasons for delayed visitation, forgetting all is planned in His set time. You either wait for Isaac or be ready to lose Ismael when Isaac comes. When its delayed, its one sure sign, its gloriously packaged for an appointed Time.
God bless you!
