Hope Alive Christian Centre Men’s Annual Convention, ‘Transform’ enters day two

The Hope Alive Christian Centre had the day two of their 2023 Annual Men's Convention.

Rev. Dr. Albert Oduwole, ministering during today’s session of the program, specifically admonished men to be transformed, saying “you’re a male by chance, but a man by choice,

“Culture yourself to be transformed, position yourself to be transformed. I have seen men at age 14, and children at age 40. Being a man is not by age but by being transformed.

He quoted the bible, saying “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things,” I Corinthians 13:11.

Giving a clear definition of what a transformed man is, Rev Oduwole said a transformed man is one who picks a seed and water it to become fruitful.

He stated that the reasons why men should be transformed is because God, women and even men need them.

“God needs men that are transformed. Women are praying for such men. The reason for the myriad of many unmarried women out there is because transformed men are few in the society.

Listen, even men are looking for men that are transformed. Yes, they need men that will model them.”

Speaking on what the family expects from a transformed man, the erudite preacher simply said they expect longevity, productivity and purity.

“A transformed man must be a king, and the major responsibility of a king is to provide for the family.

“He must also be the priest and the prophet of the home; his task is to intercede in prayers and make decisions for the good of the family.” Rev. Albert Oduwole added.

The Convention continues tomorrow Sunday 23rd April, 2023; 8 am prompt at Hope Alive Christian Centre (The Oasis) plot A/MF/5, Hope Alive Avenue, Mpape, Abuja, Nigeria.
