The accident occurred early this morning, April 3, while people were on their way to work.
According to some eyewitnesses, the bus driver and a passenger were having an argument and this caused the driver to lose concentration, thereby losing control of the vehicle.
A Twitter user who was standing at the scene of the accident explained that she barely escaped being crushed by the bus.
She tweeted: “A bus carrying passengers from Abeokuta somersaulted and crashed into the brt fence The bus turned over. Driver bleeding People are badly injured I was standing there, I was by the wall a minute ago.”
She added: “Pleaseeeee ambulanceeeee. Abulegba brt. People are dyinggg.”
