According to Leadership News, we gathered that the couple, who got married about three years ago, had two children from the marriage.
The scenario, according to sources, occurred Wednesday night around 10 p.m. at Gbeyi community in Adegbayi area of Ibadan.
It was learned that the scenario followed an argument over the accusation of the wife locking the husband out of their bedroom.
This later amounted into a fight during which the wife allegedly stabbed the husband at the back.
The crisis was earlier reported at the Gbagi Police Station but has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Iyaganku, Ibadan, according to the source.
Police Public Relations Officer of the Oyo State Command, Adewale Osifeso, when imformed, said that the case was under investigation.
He added that updates would be conveyed accordingly.
Osifeso, in a short statement on Friday, said, “The case is under investigation at the Homicide Department of the State Criminal Investigation Department of the Command. Updates will be provided accordingly, please.”
