The young lady got it all wrong — Pst Prevail Inegbenose

I was told a story of a young lady who had little or no knowledge of what her Maker expected from her.

Chinasa, that was her name; she lives in the city with her bosom friend, Ngozi.

She had everything going well for her – good job with good pay, good accommodation, affluence and well respected in the society.

But…she didn’t care much about God. On her part, Ngozi was the exact opposite of her friend, Chinasa.

She would serve God through kingdom service in her local church – rendering work in God’s house. Yet, she was struggling and couldn’t even afford an apartment for herself.

One day, Chinasa asked her,

“Tell me, why are you working for God the way you’re doing?”

Ngozi smiled at her friend; they had just finished a tasty meal bought from one of the best restaurants in town by Chinasa.

“I work for God because I’m alive”, Ngozi said rejoicely.

“Life…everyone has life…that’s no big deal”, she retorted.

Three days later, Ngozi received a call from the police station that her friend was involved in a ghastly motor accident, and died on the spot.

Now, I told you in my first message of the series that kingdom service is mandatory to everyone who believe in Christ, right?

Now, listen to this, it’s a privilege to be alive, and because you’re, serve God – engaging in kingdom service. Count it a special opportunity to serve your Maker.

That you’re alive is enough reason to render work to God in your local church.

Let me ask you my beloved, are you serving God through kingdom service?

God shall surely remember your services to Him in Jesus mighty name 🙏.

God bless you greatly, Pst Prevail Inegbenose, House of God Int’l – Rest Tabernacle, Abuja Nigeria

PS: Take a look at our patriarch (Abraham), his walk with God was centered around serving Him
