Dr. Ganduje made the disclosure when the North Central Elders led by the 6th President of the Nigerian Senate, Ahmed Ebute, paid him a congratulatory visit following the party’s double victory in 24 hours – Edo poll and court judgment on suit seeking his removal from office.
According to him, there’s no rock that cannot be demolished using the right equipment.
Spark News Daily recalls that the APC national chairman had said the Edo election victory was a difficult exercise because the contest was against the incumbent governor who was previously their own.
As to how APC got the victory, Dr. Ganduje said, “Fighting an incumbent government isn’t easy, but if those ready for the war are really warriors…if you say you’re a rock and cannot be demolished; who says that? A rock can be demolished using the right equipment.
“So, we used the right equipment in order to win the Edo governorship election”.
Speaking on the court’s judgement in the suit seeking his removal from office, Dr. Ganduje said “there is no doubt that the claim was baseless and it has been treated by the court of law as such”.
He recalled that during his appointment as the national chairman of the party, elders, executive governors, women groups, and professionals bodies, from the zone, paid him a courtesy visit .
“So, those who feel unsecured who went to the court, nobody will bother about that, but we’ll continue to respond legally until we completely succeed”, he added.
The former Kano State Governor said he is not bothered with any sort of baseless litigations since the elders, governors, women and youths from the zone are bbehind him.
Earlier, the ex-senate president, Ahmed Ebute declared the North Central geographical zone’s unalloyed support for Dr. Ganduje.
“The North Central Elders have come to congratulate you on your great achievements within 24 hrs, that’s the Edo poll victory and the court victory.
“We made an undertaken that we are solidly behind you, will continue to support you and your administration”, he said.
Senator Ebute stated that with the achievements of the national chairman, the 2027 elections will be a walk-over for all the party’s candidates.
The Federal High Court in Abuja, on Monday, dismissed the suit seeking the removal of Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, as the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC)
The North Central APC Forum, led by Saleh Zazzaga, is challenging the propriety of Ganduje’s appointment as the party’s National Chairman when he is not from the zone.
