In celebrating the rural woman, a Non-Governmental Organization, Maden Healthcare Foundation in recognizing their efforts, called for greater support and empowerment of rural women, ensuring they have equal opportunities and resources to thrive and lead change in their communities.
In a brief statement, Executive Director of the Maden Healthcare Foundation, Dr. Eseoghene Agbatutu disclosed that “the day also brings attention to the challenges rural women face, including limited access to education, healthcare, and resources.”
Dr. Agbautu therefore enjoined all stakeholders including foreign partners and government at all tiers, political appointees and the private sector to support the rural woman in the development of their potentials as that would further impact positively on their various communities.
“Let’s support our rural women,” Dr Agbatutu stressed.
