32-year-old Britain’s Got Talent star dies after battles with cancer
Former Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Emma Jones has tragically died at the age of 32 following a battle with cancer.
The singer blew the judges away with her pitch-perfect rendition of Opera classic Ave Maria when she appeared on the talent show back in 2015 at just 23 years-old.
However Emma, who was from Wigton in Cumbria, sadly passed away in February of this year after a post on her Facebook page shared the heartbreaking news, MailOnline reports.
It read: ‘I’m sorry to have to tell you that Emma Jones has died. She died on Valentines Day after being diagnosed with multiple organ cancer.
‘The doctor thinks it began as ovarian cancer and spread to other organs.’
Emma’s former partner John Hastings told the News and Star he would miss her ‘personality, smile and gorgeous voice.’
‘As a person she was lovely, everyone wanted to be with her,’ he reminisced.
