AEDC reels out new initiatives to enhance service delivery 

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has embarked on a series of initiatives targeted at transforming its operations and enhancing service delivery to its esteemed customers.

The Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of AEDC, Victor Ojelabi, who made this known in chat with journalists, said the key initiatives are to bolster its service delivery and customer satisfaction.

 

While highlighting the new initiatives as; Token Identifier (TID) Rollover, Mass Metering Program, Operationalisation of Vending Platforms, Digital Transformation, Collaboration with Media; Energy Theft and Closing Statement, Ojelabi stated that AEDC’s commitment to its customers is unwavering.

 

“With these new initiatives, we are enhancing our operational capabilities and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. I believe that these changes will bring about a significant improvement in our service delivery”, he said. 

 

Ojelabi emphasized that the new leadership team of AEDC led by him is poised to drive the organization to new heights of operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

 

According to the AEDC boss, the company is prioritizing the clearance of outstanding bills to optimize service delivery and ensure operational efficiency. 

 

He said the strategic move is designed to enhance its financial health, as well as enabling AEDC to provide more robust and reliable electricity distribution services. 

 

“We appeal to all our valued customers with outstanding bills to settle them promptly. This is crucial in maintaining uninterrupted service delivery and ensuring that we provide reliable electricity to every household and business in our service areas”, he added.

Okwuokenye Chijioke, Chief Operating Officer (COO); Babajide Ibironke, Chief Finance Officer (CFO); Godfrey Aba, Chief Technical Officer (CTO); Iguwo Ukwu, Company Secretary and Head Legal; Uche Anyalewechi, Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Irene Nwankwo, Chief Internal Auditor.

 

Others are Engr. Canice Emeka, Chief Business Officer, APO Zone; Leticia Ejindu, Chief Business Officer, Garki Zone; Olumide Jerome, Chief Business Officer, Wuse Zone; Engr.
