AFRIMEK suspends Adeniyi Johnson for gross misconduct

Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has been suspended by the African Men Entertainment Kings, AFRIMEK.

Announcing the suspension on its official Instagram page, AFRIMEK said the actor was suspended for gross misconduct and breach of the club’s constitution.

AFRIMEK wrote, “ADENIYI JOHNSON is hereby suspended indefinitely from the club (AFRIMEK). He has no right to portray himself as a member and stopped from the club activities.

“This decision is borne out of gross misconduct and breach of the club’s constitution.”

AFRIMEK is a club known for its influential members in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.

Before his suspension, Adeniyi served as the Public Relations Officer of AFRIMEK.

Reacting to his suspension, Adeniyi said he has been existing before joining the club.

“It saddens my heart that my honourable club made such a derogatory post about me. Please note that I’m not bigger than the club, but before the club there has been Adeniyi Johnson. If care is not taken, that post will do more harm than good.

“I feel this is detrimental to my name, family, standard, and even more importantly, my brand. I hereby implore my family, friends, and fans to stay calm and continue to show unwavering love and support”, he wrote on his social media handle.
