Akpakomiza sends New Month message to Esan People, as he prepares to take Oath of Office on June 13th
The Senator-Elect for Edo Central Senatorial District, Monday Okpebholo (aka) Akpakomiza, has send a New Month message encapsulated in gratitude to the good people of his constituency, Edo Central, popularly known as Esanland, as he prepares to be inaugurated on June 13th.
A statement signed by the Senator-elect’s Media and communication aide, Godswin Inegbe, on 1st June 2023, reads:
“My beloved people of Esanland, today, being the first day of the month of June, which I will take the Oath of Office, I write to convey to you once again, my heartfelt gratitude for your historic bipartisan votes, which marked a watershed in the political history in Esanland and Edo State.
“Through your votes on the 25th of February 2023, you willfully, joyously and loudly gave me your mandate to represent your interests at the 10th Senate, in the most credible election in the annals of our political history.
“My overwhelming victory, which was not challenge by my opponents in election tribunal, is a testament of the credibility of the process that led to my victory, and for that, I wish to salute my opponents for their applaudable decision to respect the choices of the vast majority of Esan people.
“My good people of Esanland, I am profoundly grateful for the mandate you gave to me, and I wish to assure you all, that, I will not take your mandate for granted.
“As I prepare to take the Oath of Office on the 13th of this month, I pledge that, I will prioritize your interest and the development of infrastructure in Esanland, in all my engagements as your representative at the 10th Senate.
“I am optimistic that, together, we’ll birth Esanland of our Dream, which our children and the generation unborn, will be proud to call home.
