“As Governor of Lagos State, you left a legacy of achievements that became the launchpad for Lagos as a vibrant megacity with highly competitive Gross Domestic Product (GDP) far larger than that of many African countries, a legacy your successors in office have continued to consolidate upon.
‘As President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, at a trying time in our nation’s history, you rose to the occasion, undaunted, patriotically rolling out policies and reforms, with zestful commitment, to tackle generational barriers to national progress and restore vitality and growth to the economy.
“Less than two years on, your visionary leadership has ushered a turnaround, with manifest strides that now place our country firmly on the cusp of epochal transformation and prosperity.
“We are proud to be associated in partnership with you, in your unyielding efforts to deliver on the Renewed Hope Agenda for progress and prosperity of all Nigerians.
