APC NWC member, Hon Bankole hails Gov Abiodun as he emerged Chairman Southern Governors’ Forum 

A congratulatory message titled, “CONGRATULATIONS: LEADING SOUTHERN NIGERIA TO PROSPERITY AND UNITY”, by Hon. Bankole was made available to Spark News Daily on Tuesday in Abuja.

Hon Bankole said Gov Abiodun’s appointment as the chairman of SGF is a testament to his exceptional leadership and commitment to advancing regional development across Southern Nigeria.

According to him, his esteemed colleagues’ choice reflects their confidence in his ability to steer the Forum towards greater heights of governance excellence. 

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Ogun State Governor, His Excellency Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun (CON) on his unanimous nomination as Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum.

“I’m confident that under your stewardship, the Southern Governors’ Forum will thrive, contributing significantly to the prosperity and progress of our beloved nation.

“I also congratulate Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State on his election as Vice Chairman and commend all Governors involved for their dedication to fostering unity and development in our region.

“Moving forward, it is imperative for the Southern Governors’ Forum to collaborate closely with the Federal Government to harness synergies and resources necessary for comprehensive regional development”, he said. 

He noted that by fostering a cooperative relationship, Southern Nigeria can leverage federal initiatives and policies to address infrastructure challenges, economic disparities, and security concerns effectively, adding that such collaboration not only enhances developmental outcomes but also ensures equitable distribution of resources and opportunities across the entire nation.

The President of APC wing of People With Disabilities (PWDs), further stated that transcending party lines within the Southern Governors’ Forum is crucial for achieving sustainable development goals.
