APC South-South leadership hails Gov Eno’s decision to join Party
The National Vice-Chairman (South-South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Victor Giadom, has welcomed the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Umo Eno, and other members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the Party.

In a statement personally signed by him on Monday, Chief Giadom hailed Governor Eno’s decision to join the APC, saying it is not only timely, but a strategic move that will foster greater synergy with the Federal Government and unlock more social and economic opportunities for the accelerated development of Akwa Ibom state.
According to the Zonal leader, President Bola Tinubu’s bold and unprecedented policy reforms implemented under the Renewed Hope Agenda has continued to draw massive appeal among leaders and people of the South-South region who are keen to work with Mr. President and our great Party for the full actualization of the Agenda for the progress of region and the country.
He assured Governor Eno and his teeming followers of its fullest cooperation towards delivery of improved governance, dividends of democracy, and a massive electoral victory in the Zone in 2027.
Spark News Daily reports that Governor Eno officially announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC while speaking on Friday in Uyo, the state capital.
