President Hichilema was warmly received by Chargé d’Affaires Mrs. Chinyere A. Epelle and other officials from the Mission.
The Zambian leader was accompanied by key dignitaries, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. Mulambo Haimbe, Permanent Secretary for International Relations and Cooperation H.E. Mrs. Etambuyu Gundersen, and Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mrs. Cheswa Silwizya.
This gesture highlights the strong diplomatic ties and mutual respect between Zambia and Nigeria.
Buhari died on Sunday 13th July, 2025 in a clinic in the UK at 82. His body was flown back to Nigeria and buried in Daura, Katsina State.
