Davido to celebrate birthday with N300m donation to orphanages
Afrobeats star, Davido, originally called David Adeleke, has announced that he will be commemorating his 32nd birthday with a N300 million donation to orphanages.
The singer who disclosed this via his X handle on Monday, explained that the donation would be made to orphanages and a charity that fights against drug abuse among youths.
He promised to share more details in subsequent posts.
“Once again, for my birthday this year, we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon”, he wrote.
Spark News Daily reports that this is not the first time Davido is donating to charity in commemoration of his birthday.
In November 2021, Davido donated N250m to 292 orphanages in celebration of his 29th birthday.
