Dr. Folabora Bryhm Foundation doles out cash gifts to aged, vulnerable in Bunuland

It is often said, ‘Old age is a sensitive phase; elderly people need care and comfort to live a healthy life without worries and anxiety’.

The task of improving the lives of the older and vulnerable people in society is everyone’s.

In the light of the foregoing, a Non-Governmental Organisation, Dr. Folabora Bryhm Foundation, in its remarkable show of compassion, ignited some smiles on the faces of the elderly and vulnerable members of Bunu land during the yuletide season.

Keeping to its mission of uplifting those in need, the Foundation took a significant step towards improving the lives of the less privileged in Bunu land through direct financial (cash) assistance.

The Foundation, led by Dr. Folabora Bryhm, reached out to Bunu people in their hundreds, ensuring that the aged ones are not left out of magnanimity.

Speaking during the outreach, Dr. Bryhm explained that the gesture was specifically directed at assisting the elderly and indigent members of the community, who often face economic hardship and social isolation.

“The Foundation’s humanitarian gesture was aimed at showing them that they are seen, valued, and cared for by their community and that no one in Bunuland is left to struggle alone”, he added.

According to him, the outreach serves as a shining example of how humane leadership can bring about meaningful change in a community by directly addressing the needs of the most vulnerable.

He said the Foundation has not only provided immediate relief but also fostered a sense of unity and solidarity among the people of Bunuland.

There is no doubt that with a clear mission to continue supporting the less privileged, the Dr. Folabora Bryhm Foundation has set a great standard of social responsibility for others to follow.

As we works to expand our reach and deepen our positive impacts, we remain devoted to making Bunuland a place where everyone can live with dignity and hope, regardless of their circumstances.

Bunu people and the society at large should expect more faces to smile through Folabora’s positive touch as his Foundation will be organizing a Football Competition in August 2025 to harness youths’ potential in sports.
