Bawa was also said to have arrived the DSS office in Abuja a few hours ago.
A statement by the DSS Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya on Wednesday June 14th, 2023, said the invitation relates to some investigative activities concerning him.
On the same day, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved the indefinite suspension from office of Mr. AbdulRasheed Bawa, as the Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to allow for proper investigation into his conduct while in office.
