EPL: Arsenal Legend Emmanuel Petit gives verdict on Jorginho

Arsenal legend, Emmanuel Petit has given his verdict on the club’s January signing, Jorginho.

Petit said that Jorginho is a different player, adding that he is not a fan of the Italy international.

Jorginho joined Chelsea from Arsenal on the transfer deadline day of the January transfer window for £12 million.

Due to Thomas Partey’s injury, Jorginho has jumped straight into action for the Gunners.

Jorginho has made five appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side and played a key role in their 4-2 victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League.

“City will put pressure on them every single day, but they’re showing so much maturity and happiness,” Petit said (via Sport Bible).

“Happiness is so important, and you can see that from Jorginho, he is a different player.

“I am not a big fan of Jorginho and I think he is very happy he has left Chelsea’s dressing room – all of a sudden, he looks like a different player.”
