‘Living like Christ is possible’ – Pastor Peace Ibiyeomie
Pastor Mrs. Peace Ibiyeomie, wife of the founder and senior pastor of Hour of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, has said living like Christ is possible, as against the insinuation of many that living a holy life on earth is impossible.
Mrs Ibiyeomie spoke on, “Having Godly Character”, during the Children’s Day Service at the church auditorium on Sunday 28th May, 2023 in Port-harcourt.
According to the billionaire Pastor’s wife, every child of God is to live like Christ.
“You cannot call yourself a Christian and live contrary to Christianity. Being a Christian simply means ‘Christ-like’. If you say that you are a Christian, you are to live like Christ, and anybody that sees you will see you as a child of God”.
While cautioning believers against having double characters – one in the Church and the other outside, she said doing what the unbelievers are doing does not show that you are a Christian.
“Show them the Christ in you, stop doing what they are doing. When they are stealing, don’t join them to steal, when they are insulting people, don’t insult.
“When you are a Christian, you are a child of God, you are born again, everything about you becomes new, you live like Christ.
Pastor Mrs Ibiyeomie further admonished the children to show to the world godly character.
