MONTH OF DIVINE SATISFACTION: The Source of True Satisfaction – Pastor Akoh Ferdinand
Thank God for his spirit that has continuously given us access to understand the ways of God through scriptures by revelation. I have stayed behind the stage of the earth for some months to see and understand, what truly mankind desires, and found out that every man, irrespective of gender, race, religion, education, resources, wants to be satisfied.
The truth is there are many who have enroute in their honest pursuits for satisfaction. It doesn’t matter who you are, how much of the worlds wisdom you have, the day you find what truly satisfies, you will be willing to sell everything for it. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field”,
Matthew:13:44.
Most frequent is always the exhortation that comes from our very honest and noble clerics, to love God, to the end that it ends at a reward, or to love one another, to the end that we are able to run a system void of enimity and strife, which is not wrong, but has fetch insignificant results as there is even strife and hate. it is not just how we love God that makes us satisfy, it is not just our love for one another that satisfies, What then truly satisfies?
I call it – Access to knowing Gods love for us. And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God, Ephesians:3:19. There are 3things that make Gods love for us our only true source of satisfaction;
1. Nothing can separate us from God because of his love for us, our love for God can never be as pure as His love for us. Gods love has no allowance for divorce, no allowance for deceit, The only one thing i know God can’t do is faked His love for us. When we know how inseparable we are from Gods love, it becomes impossible not to be satisfy. Rom:8:35-39. Never forget, God loves you.
2. Gods love for us never fails. When Apostle Paul was speaking in 1cor 13:8, he said” love never fails” though it was to the believers at corinth, teaching them to understand how reliable love is, yet passed an understanding of how powerful Gods love towards us is. Add Gods love to your dying marriage, it comes alive, Add Gods love in that endeavor everyone is seeing you fail already and watch how it rises, Gods love never fails, If His love for me can’t fail, i can’t end up a failure, This too satisfies.
3. Gods love is for everyone, This is what makes Gods love powerful, It is a gift share to everyone, this also shows how impartial our God can be, The very knowledge of how much God did, has done and is doing to keeps us at our various levels and realm can never feature thoughts of the kind of wickedness, our societies are expose to. one thing is amiss, we have not come to terms with truth that God’s love can satisfy us without dissatisfying another, because His has been share to everyone equally, it doesn’t matter, if its your sworn or childhood enemy. My ernest prayer for us is that we walk with the consciousness that only Gods love for us is the source of true satisfaction. Live satisfied in the name of Jesus.
