Paul Pogba in talks with Juventus to end his contract

Paul Pogba is in talks with Juventus with a view to ending his second stint with the Serie A club, according to Mail Sport.

It was revealed on Friday that Pogba’s initial four year doping ban was reduced by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to just 18 months meaning he can recommence playing competitive football in March. Pogba can restart training in January.

But it is understood that Pogba is likely to continue his career away from Juve with the expectation that he will reach a mutual agreement with the Turin club to cut his contract, which expires in June 2026, short.

Once his release has been confirmed, Pogba will focus on finding a new club.

Despite the heartache of his drugs ban, Pogba continues to love the game and is determined to get his playing days back on track.

While Pogba holds Juve, his team-mates and Turin close to his heart, it is understood that he feels a fresh start would be best for him and his family.
