Sincerity in Love for Christ – Pastor Becky M. Prevail
The closing remark of Apostle Paul in his epistle to the believers at Ephesus reads, "Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity."- Eph 6:24.

This remark gives us an understanding that it is possible to profess love for Jesus but not in sincerity. What then is sinerity in love? It means to truly love; to love Jesus Christ in deed and in truth, and not just in words and in tongues.
Sincerity in love is to keep the commandments of God and not the ceremonial professing of Him. Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commandments.”- John 14:15.
A keeper of Christ’s commandments is a true lover of Christ. So then, an unforgiving believer doesn’t love Jesus. A fornicating believer doesn’t love God. So is a believer that steals, lies, hates, commit adultery etc.
Sincerity in love is deeply rooted in obedience to God’s words. It is not in dancing, jumping and singing in church or even building a house for God, though good; but in the keeping of God’s commandments.
Do well to love Christ Jesus in all sincerity. It counts. I pray for you, your love will not fall short of what God expect of you in Jesus name. Amen. #LearnChrist
