The yoke was broken…divine encounter
It came to pass in my life that living was not the way I had hoped for it to be while growing up; I don't mean in terms of material possession.
So, I decided to visit a man of God who was of the Living Faith denomination in my locality.
We got talking…OK, let me say I got talking to him about life and my challenges.
He looked at me and said something that struck my mind. In fact, for weeks I was not able to recover from it.
Bluntly, he said to me, “You lack Vision”. Obviously he was right for two reasons;
1. What was stopping me can’t stop a man who truly has vision.
2. I have not had encounter with God to know my life purpose. Divine encounter is what reveals purpose and fuels action.
You know what? I left the pastor’s office depressed and dejected because truly I was a man without vision.
But my biggest concern was how do I know what my vision is. It became a burden…more like a strong thought that kept reoccurring every now and then.
Until one day…in the early hour of the day, having returned from the 2nd of the three special all night programme as declared by Pastor Dayo Olutayo of the Good Tidings Bible Church Int’l…
It happened…I saw it…I heard Him…I received it…I knew it wasn’t earthly, but Divine.
From that moment, the yoke of lack of vision was broken and my vision was unveiled!
I pray for everyone reading this piece, this season God shall encounter you and His purpose for your life shall be revealed to you in Jesus mighty name.
