There are two political  parties in Nigeria – Hope Uzodinma down plays ADC

According to him, the two parties are the All Progressive Congress (APC) and others.

Governor Uzodinma stated this while on a working visit to the national secretariat of the APC in Abuja, in company of his Kogi State counterpart, Governor Usman Adodo.

The Governors were conducted round the Party facilities by the new National chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, particularly inspecting the Data Centre.

When accosted by journalists and pressed on the claims by ADC that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is undeserving of a second term, Governor Uzodinma said, “You called it a claim, it is their claim, not our claim. I know that there are only two parties in Nigeria, All Progressive Congress and Others”.

He said the purpose of their visit to the party national secretariat was to evaluate the extent of preparation towards the proposed e-registration exercise.

“We are here on a working visit. We came to monitor and evaluate the extent of the e-registration exercise. What has been done and we have inspected and conducted a trip round the facilities and we are highly impressed with what we saw and also confident that any moment from now our e-registration exercise will start in full force”, he told journalists.

On Mr. President’s directive to erect a new National Secretariat building for APC, the Governor hinted that work is in progress.

He disclosed that the PGF is excited and happy with the choice of Prof. Yilwatda as the new National Chairman of the Party, expressing confidence in his leadership.

“We are working as a team under the leadership of Mr. President, and as such the Chairman of PGF has spoken and he has spoken our mind”, Gov Adodo added.

The National chairman, Prof. Yilwatda disclosed that the relationship between him and PGF has been very cordial.

“You can see it, it’s very cordial, you can see how the Governors are relating with the Party, you can see how the members are relating with the Party”.

Prof. Yilwatda emphasized on deepening relationships to make the Party more attractive to the people, the nation, and the Governors.

“We are a leading party by far compared to any other political party and we want to ensure that we deepen technology, we ensure that we lead in all aspects, in all ramifications and technology is one aspect that we are doing”, he said on the e-registration.
