‘This too shall pass’ – AY speaks as wife confirms divorce
Nigerian comedian and filmmaker, AY, originally called, Ayo Makun, has reacted after his estranged wife, Mabel, confirmed the end of their marriage.
In a statement on her Instagram handle, Mabel confirmed that her dream of a lifelong marriage has taken a “different direction,” and she was now committed to “moving forward with grace and resilience.”
She admitted that it is a challenging period, and asked for “privacy and consideration as we (my ex-husband and I) find our own path forward.”
Respond, AY expressed optimism that the challenging period shall pass.
“This too shall pass”, he wrote on his Instagram page.
